Flip vs DFC Differences: (1) Flip cards always have the same color/mana cost as their unflipped versions while DFCs have unique color/cost on each face (2) flip cards can't be flipped back while DFCs...

[+]Some of the differences.
06:41

As I see it, the difference between flip cards and DFCs is on par with that between the Legend rule and Planeswalker Uniqueness rule. Is there a particular reason to unify one pair and not the other?

[+]We don?t make flip cards any more. We do still make planeswalkers and legendary creatures, so no, not on par.
06:40

Could we rename flip cards to spin cards? I think that would be less confusing.

[+]Once a mechanic is printed with a name, that?s its name (unless we one day reprint it with a new name).
06:37

Why not just make it so Flip and transform mean the same thing? when people ask why they look diferent just say you didnt had the technology back in Kamigawa to make them DFCs, i just went trough all...

[+]Flip cards and DFCs do not work identically.
03:14

The "Bob from accounting" ad would have been funnier if Bob had won the fight.

[+]As a former professional comedy writer, my expert belief is no, it would not. The ?Bob from Accounting? as is my all time favorite Magic TV ad. In case, you?ve never seen the ad: Check out this video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/SgPEhrB7ebc
03:13

Jumping on the previous Jund werewolf questions as well, if you were to do green/black werewolves in the future would you continue making them transforming creatures or would you make some of them...

[+]I don?t think all Werewolves have to be double-faced cards.
03:11

Any plans to put drive to work on google play?

[+]Not currently.
03:11

If you're making a supplemental set (eg, Unstable) and you want to make transformational cards, do you consider flip cards, or does their inelegance when compared to DFCs make you just want to avoid...

[+]Flip cards are considered a failure and we have no plans of doing more.

Some recent post have me worried including magics daily update for October 3rd. Where there was talk the magic movie died. That can't be true is it still rolling or should I never excpect to see...

[+]Us linking to other sites speculating is a far cry from us specifically stating something.
00:10

Flip cards are difficult to because of tapping. Would they be less confusing if both states were a permanent that didn't require tapping?

[+]They?d be better. Double-faced technology seems like an upgrade to flip technology though.

04.03.2015 11:27 | zwork

Hätte man Megamorph nicht als "whenever it's turned face up for it's Morph cost put a +1/+1 counter on it" lösen können?
