Modern Times

"[...] we intend Modern to be around for a long time. We wouldn't have made a big deal about it if we didn't. Modern will have the time and support it needs to grow into something big and successful. Part of that will be running high-level tournaments using the format. Part of that will also be making the format into something that we think people want to play. We have curated Legacy carefully over time, and as we have gotten more experience with what its players want, the format has grown. I expect the same thing will happen to Modern." - Tom LaPille

The WotC-Changeover - Part III

  5. Ab 2012 wir es keinen Player of the Year und keinen Rookie of the Year geben.

[+]To be honest, a little bit of everything. It shows that I am a well rounded player, which is invaluable. However, if I had to choose one thing, I would say my articles and my Overextended work. (Which are kind of tied together.)

What percentage of your time is spent playtesting and when you do playtest, what form do the tests take? (Limited, Constructed, what sets legal, etc etc)

[+]It depends on the day. Some days are very meeting heavy, while others leave the whole day open for brewing and playing. Also, since I?m still getting used to the cards and deckbuilding, my percentage of time spent playtesting might be lower now than it will be in the future....

How old are you?

[+]21. I will be 22 in March.
Fr 04.11.2011 05:35

at the first possible moment at work did you pull up the spoiler for Dark Ascension because i totally would

[+]After I got there and had my badge made, my manager sat me down. ?Look, I know you probably want to spend today in meetings and talking about who would win between Ewoks or Tribbles,? they began. ?But really, today, all we want you to do is read about everything we?re going to be doing in the next...

when's the last time you told someone to cut a land

[+]To be completely honest with you, I can?t even remember. I think it was Craig Wescoe while testing for PT San Juan. It?s been a while - people basically always play too few lands.

Do you ever have to fetch coffee or shred documents?

[+]Fetch coffee, not on command. I will often ask people nearby if they want anything to drink though. Shred documents, yes. :)

QS Drafts: Drafting Innistrad #5

[+]Josh Rayden, Forrest Ryan, Daniel Cecchetti and Johnny Vang attempt a series of group drafts to illustrate the power of some of the best archetypes in Innistrad Draft and to learn about the format together. Hopefully you can learn from these antics as well. Their second draft is a wonderful example... | (Autor: Josh Rayden)

04.03.2015 11:27 | zwork

Hätte man Megamorph nicht als "whenever it's turned face up for it's Morph cost put a +1/+1 counter on it" lösen können?
