Sieger: Tja, und hier wird es schwierig, denn die komplette Top 4 hat einen Price-split vereinbart. Somit ging es bei den folgenden Spielen nur noch um die SCG-Punkte. Aber damit war es noch nicht getan, denn im Finale stellte sich dann heraus, dass Nicholas Rausch nach dem Price-split nur deshalb weitergespielt hatte, weil er den Pokal haben wollte, die Punkte waren ihm offenbar egal. Und so einigte er sich mit Caleb Durward (der sich übrigens am Tag zuvor auch schon in die Standard Top 8 gespielt hatte) auf dessen Sieg, wenn er den Pokal bekomme. Und um dem ganzen die Krone aufzusetzen, wurde Caleb anschließend von Nichlas nach allen Regeln der Kunst auf die Bretter geschickt..

Magic 2012 im Härtetest


Da ist M12 grade mal 24 Stunden lang legal, da starten auch schon die ersten High-Level-Turniere:


Dieses Jahr werden in Osaka die Japan-Nationals mit 358 Spielern abgehalten. Und es hat den Anschein als würde dort das eine oder andere neue Standard-Deck ins Feld geführt. Am Sonntag startet der zweite Turniertag und damit auch die Coverage um 9 Uhr (also 1 Uhr morgens bei uns). Die Top 8 wird am Montag ebenfalls ab 9 Uhr morgens ausgetragen.


Und während der erste Turniertag in Japan bereits in den Geschichtsbüchern steht, hat die SCG Open Series in Cincinnati gerade erst begonnen.


437 Spieler probieren dort gerade das neue Standard-Format auszuloten. Dabei wird die SCG-Coverage auch diesmal wieder von der hauseigenen Video-Live-Coverage begleitet.
Ob M12 auch Einfluss auf das Legacy-Format hat, wird sich am Sonntag ab 10 Uhr (also 16 Uhr in unserer Zeitzone) zeigen.

Schon lange finde ich es schade, dass du deinen Projekten goyf und Couchmagic so wenig Liebe angedeihen lässt. Der Schritt, den goyf nun ganz zu beenden, ist nachvollziehbar, aber auch aus meiner Sicht bedauerlich. Couchmagic wird vermutlich bald folgen...

Sehr schade, den Newsfeed habe ich bis vor 3 Tagen täglich genutzt. Vielleicht kannst du mir ein ähnliches Angebot nennen?

Sicher, aber dann wäre es keine neue Fähigkeit bzw. kein neues Keyword...

Hätte es dagegen spannend gefunden, wenn WotC eine Kreatur mit Megamorph zusätzlich auch mit Morph ausgestattet hätten, damit man eine situative Wahl treffen könnte. Ich hoffe, dass WotC auch auf diese Idee gekommen ist!

Hätte man Megamorph nicht als "whenever it's turned face up for it's Morph cost put a +1/+1 counter on it" lösen können?
Hätte weniger von Power Ranger-Feeling. Ich finds dämlich so wie es ist.

Es soll der 29.03. werden (was auch von WotC bestätigt wurde) - was auch mehr Sinn macht, da am Wochenende.
